Here is a quick update on the status of the farm. As of today May 4 the plants are still fast asleep and looking gray. Some of the plants are starting to show some green but they all seem to be very far behind .
We are getting numerous calls as to when we are going to open, and as of today we are not sure; it will be in the first part of June at the earliest. The cause of the delay seems to be the weather. If you remember back in February in Lawrence and on our hill it was -22° on one Tuesday and the following Tuesday it was 70°. The plants are confused and so too are we.
We greatly appreciate your interest and we look forward to seeing all of you before the season is over!
