Latest Farm Update

Hello from the farm!

As you can tell our new website is up and we hope (hope being the operative word) that we have worked out most of the kinks.

We promised before, “ some tips “ on lavender gardening and so, just remember spring planting should take place after the last frost;  if you are planting in the fall plant a good 7-8 weeks before the first frost.

People ask us ,”where is the best place to buy plants,” and we tell everyone to go to a good nursery so that you know exactly what you’re buying. The nursery also should be able to help you pick  plants that will grow best in your area. Now this can change from farm to farm but it will give you at least an idea of what  may be the best.

And finally when it comes to planting, water the plants  for maybe a week or two, every once in a while, and then let nature take its course. It seems that the thing that kills lavender most is overwatering.  If you water your lavender, “just like your other flowers,” you are most likely overwatering.

Again please check out our web store.   Lavender is a great gift for someone else or for yourself and we have lots of new products and more to come within the next couple of weeks.

Thank you for your interest .  If you have any questions please drop us a note or give us a call.  We will try to answer everyone!

PS  We are still developing our summer plans.  Also the gnomes ARE practicing social distancing (that is six feet in gnome land)!
